Silver Twist is a 1999 16.2 hand grey Anglo-Trakehner stallion. He is registered with the American Trakehner Association
(Anglo-Trakehner division, Registration ORB-B-S1060) and his DNA has been verified by the ATA. Silver Twist is approved by the American Warmblood Society (Registration USAAWR04142750599). He is registered with the Performance Horse Registry (P0004529). He was the United States Dressage Federation All-Breeds Dressage Sport Horse Breeding Stallion of 2005
(USDF Lifetime Registration 1033331). His USEF (AHSA) number is 4062087.

Silver Twist is a very prepotent sire. All of his offspring share very desirable attributes and have a "stamp," a look and style, that is equal parts superb jumping "Twist" and elegant "Abdullah." He is also known for passing on his fun-loving personality.

Silver Twist has a huge, daisy-cutting trot with suspension, loft, and reach. His toe point is unparalleled, while his hocks are under him, with a clean, free action. His canter is balanced, round, and bounding. He has a huge stride. His walk is correct, with a large overstep. Silver Twist is naturally balanced at all three gaits and switches leads easily.
Despite his injuries as a foal, Silver Twist was approved Premium in the American Warmblood Registry and was the USDF Breeding Stallion of the Year in 2005. He has good bone, a deep shoulder with a matching sloping pastern, clean hocks and correct angles. He tends to throw a long elegant neck and a shorter back. His sire is Abdullah and his grandsire (dam side) is Good Twist. Good Twist produced Gem Twist and the clone Gemini and Murka's Gem. His third dam produced Jet Run.
Silver Twist absolutely loves to jump. He easily clears 4-plus feet. His knees are up and he uses his neck and back well. His hind end is spectacular. He is fast, turns well, and can handle any type of distance. Silver Twist is a confident, bold jumper. He has a great ground-covering gallop, but can also "hunt" the fences with a quiet manner.
